Gertrude Nanney
Gertrude W. (Schnurbusch) Nanney of St. Louis, died Wednesday, April 28, 2004. She was 75.
She was born in 1929 in Perryville, the daughter of the late August and Theresia (Leible) Schnurbusch. 
She was married to LeClere Joseph Nanney, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include five sons, LeClere Michael (Brenda) Nanney, Joe (Ronda) Nanney, Tom (Sherry) Nanney, 
Jeff (Debbie) Nanney, and Paul (Susan) Nanney; one brother, Everett Schnurbusch of Perryville; four 
sisters, Lorine Buchheit of Perryville, Verna Buchheit, Margaret Renaud and Esther Ochs, all of St. 
Louis; and 16 grandchildren, Mike, Gary, Tracey, Tammy, Shawn, Ryan, Michele, Jessica, Joe, Greg, 
Thomas, Jennifer, Joey, Brent, Sarah, and Mark.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Walter and Lee Schnurbusch; and one sister, Sr. 
Flora Schnurbusch, FSM.
The funeral service was held Monday, May 3, at 10 a.m. at Holy Trinity Parish in St. Louis, with seven 
priests officiating. Burial was in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.
Collier's Funeral Home in Bridgeton, provided the arrangements.
