Ida Douthwaite

Ida Bucheit Knopf Douthwaite, 95, of Fox Run Manor, 
passed away September 5, 2004. 

She was born September 20, 1908 to Jacob and Matilda 
(Keitz) Bucheit in Cincinnati, Ohio, they are deceased. 
She married Andrew Robert Knopf in Cincinnati and they 
divorced. She then married Donald Douthwaite in 
Lawrenceburg, Indiana, August 1953, who preceded her in 
death.

She is survived by her son Ronald S. Knopf Sr., Findlay, 
a sister Dolores Fletcher, Cincinnati, her grandchildren, 
Ronald S. Knopf, Jr. (Theresa), Margaret Knopf Farmer 
(Brian) and Thomas Knopf and her great-grandchildren, 
Taylor & Rachel Knopf and Jackson and Maxwell Farmer. 
She is preceded in death by her sisters Mary Bucheit, 
Jean Flint, Marcella Smith and Matilda Becker. 

Ida was the corporate president of Hess Blue Print Co. 
She attended St. George High School, Conroy Business School 
and Southern Ohio Business College. She was a parishioner of 
St. John Vianney and a member of St. John Vianney Senior 
Citizens, Madisonville Senior Citizens and Oakley Senior 
Citizens. She was a treasurer for St. John Vianney Senior 
Citizens, and volunteered for the Knights of St. John.

Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Thursday, September 9, at St. 
John Church, Cincinnati, with Mass immediately following at 
11 a.m., with Father Dave officiating. Burial will be 
immediately following at St. Mary's Cemetery, Cincinnati.
