Alma V. Dickerson
CROSBY -- Alma V. Dickerson, 90, of Crosby, formerly of Emily, died 
June 1, 2005, near Royalton. She was born Jan. 13, 1915, in Emily to 
Phil and Leona (Fletcher) Buchite. She married Richard E. Dickerson 
on March 15, 1936, in Emily. She was a member of the United Methodist 
Church, Emily. She played 500 at the Emily Cafe. She had a love for 
flowers and birds.

She is survived by son, Richard Dickerson, Phoenix; daughters, Mary 
(Dave) Hughes, Emily, Kathy Smith, Deerwood, Sandra Dalton, Bayard, 
Neb.; sister, Mary Lou Buchite, San Diego; 13 grandchildren; 26 
great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded 
in death by her parents; husband, Richard in 1975; two brothers, 
Eugene and Hubert Buchite; three sisters, Betty Anderson, Eleanor 
Hines and Lois Beaulieu.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the Emily United 
Methodist Church. Burial will be at the Pine Ridge Cemetery, Emily. 
Friends may call on Monday from 6-8 p.m. at the Koop Funeral Home, 
Crosby, and an hour prior to services at church on Tuesday.
